Served In a Pot
Les Cocottes could certainly be one of my favourite places in Paris. They offer a great atmosphere, fantastic food and a fun concept at a fair price.
Unfortunately they don’t take any reservations, but finding a seat or two isn’t impossible. I think that we, without intention, managed to arrive just in time for the lunch rush but it wasn’t a problem at all.
Like the name indicates, everything is served in small Staub “cocottes”. It’s a fun concept that works great. The former Hotel Crillon chef Christian Constant has really hit a home-run with this restaurant, located just a few steps from the Eiffel Tower. I still dream of this place, and it’s one of the first items on my list to-do list when I arrive in Paris this January! The Bœuf bourguignon is the best I’ve ever had.

Hôtel Le Bristol
On our last day in Paris last March we were caught out in the rain right across from Hôtel Le Bristol, what a gorgeous hotel.
On the Fence
I’m in love with these cast iron fences in black and gold that you’ll find all over Paris. I actually look like a part of the fence with the black clothes and the blonde hair… That was not intended when we took the picture though!
