Freezing Flowers
I love that even though it’s freezing cold here right now, people still decorate their balconies with flowers and other plants. If you just look at the pictures (and try to block out the fact that my fingers were more like small frozen popsicles than actual human hands when I took it) it could might as well be spring.
Today’s Buy
This might not be the most interesting post so far but I’ve been looking for a dishbrush ever since I got here but unfortunately without any luck. After much searching I finally found this. Well… I don’t really know what to say about this… It might not be the prettiest thing around but it sure makes it a bit more fun to do the dishes every day!
Sunbathing
I think the pigeons are enjoying the sun in the city as much as I am, although I could skip this crazy cold…
In the Neighbourhood
I took a “get to know my neighbourhood walk” today. The streets are full of cosy cafés, small boutiques, nice restaurants, boulangeries and chocolate shops — just what I like.
Good Morning
I had my first breakfast in the apartment today. It’s so pretty and the view is fantastic. I couldn’t have ended up in a better place! And no, I have a feeling that my breakfasts won’t contain that much fibers in the near future…
Today’s Sweet
While I’m out running errands, meeting with my new bank and getting access to my apartment here in Paris I will treat you to some lovely and colourful sweets.
