Today’s Sweet

Cream puffs from Popelini in Paris. Just this sentence sounds delicious! Cream puffs… Ah, I’m getting hungry over here! No, but really. If you’re in Paris and want to pick up a few sweets to nibble on for dessert, something to treat a few guests to or just indulge in by yourself this is a perfect little treat. They look absolutely adorable and they taste so yummy. Swing by the boutique in Le Marais and pick up a box! Don’t forget the flavours caramel, rose – framboise and pistache!

It’s Official!

It’s official, I’m moving back to Paris! And I couldn’t be happier. I really hope that you want to come with me on this adventure all over again and that I can share even more Parisian sightings, photos, places and stories with you all.

This time I’m not going for four months, I’m moving for I don’t know how long. Until I don’t like it anymore? Well, that’s impossible. So… I guess until I find a new adventure to take on? Now I just have to figure out how to pack up a whole life in a couple of suitcases and then unpack them on a 20m² surface. I’m leaving for Paris in two months which feels absolutely amazing and quite scary at the same time. Let the countdown begin!

New Changes

I recently changed things up a bit around here but I now realise that I might have forgotten to explain how a few of the new things work, so here we go. First of all I’ve added a few icons at the top of the page. By clicking on any of these buttons you can find me and the blog in different social medias. From left to right it’s: Flickr, Pinterest, Bloglovin, RSS-feed and Instagram.

I’ve also added a search function here on the blog so that you easily can find what you’re looking for. Do you want to find a post that contains anything about Hugo & Victor or which camera I use for example, just type in a word and press enter.

A new page that you’ll find in the menu bar is also: “In media“. By clicking on this option you can see articles written by me for other magazines and websites, mentions about the blog and where my photographs have been published. If you want to see a whole feature, just click on the little image.

Institut du Monde Arabe

If the weather allows it I would definitely recommend going for a drink (you can eat as well but I’ve never tried the food) at Institut du Monde Arabe. The view is gorgeous!

Today’s Sweet

Have you ever tried the delicious macarons from Carette in Paris? Unfortunately I think these pretty little things have been overshadowed by the bigger brands, such as Ladurée and Pierre Hermé for example, which really is a shame because these ones are just as tasty, if not more so.

You can find Carette at two locations in Paris; at Place des Vosges and Place du Trocadéro. Could you ask for better locations? I don’t think so. Choose between looking out over the beautiful Eiffel Tower or the gorgeous gardens at Place des Vosges. I only wish I had more time when I picked up these sweet things since the café itself is pretty gorgeous as well. Just look at this! I’m definitely coming back for a long pause in the afternoon so I can sip on a cup of tea, coffee or hot chocolate together with some pastries…
