Moving to Paris?

I realise that I have not (intentionally) written a post about how to get a visa when planning a move to Paris. This is simply because I haven’t dealt with this frustrating issue since I’m already a European citizen. But I understand that for many of you, this is a must before making the dream about moving to Paris come true.

I still know absolutely nothing about this so I’m definitely not the right person to be asking but what you could do is to check out this great, and very informative, post on the HiP Paris blog about moving to Paris as a non European citizen. Hopefully it’ll clear a few things up for you! You’ll find it here.

Great passport photo 🙂 I wrote about a post about becoming an expat in 2011 that I think helped some of my readers too: http://www.lostincheeseland.com/2011/04/how-to-become-french-expat.html. It’s tough, but doable!

    • Thank you 🙂 Ah, I know. I read that post about a hundred times before my move. Fortunately I don’t have to think about visa or anything like that since I’m within the European Union, but I can only imagine the hassle.

Thank you for this! I was scrolling through your blog (newly discovered and I’m a big fan : ) for this exact information! I am currently struggling to find the best visa option for my move to Paris next spring. Initially I thought I might be able to get a work visa, but now it seems a student visa might be best. Thank you for your post on taking classes too! I’m so grateful for your stories and am thrilled for you and your return to Paris. Bon chance!
