Today’s Sweet

Ahh, just look at this pretty pink pastry called Religieuse from Ladurée! Sometimes it’s hard to even have a bite when the pastry looks this beautiful… Unfortunately the taste didn’t live up to my expectations. It tasted a little bit too sweet for me, and I love sweet so that should tell you something! But boy it’s pretty to look at… And photograph of course.

That does look too beautiful to eat! The one Ladurée macaron flavor I simply cannot resist is the salted butter caramel. It is sinfully good and I often embarrass myself when eating them as it is difficult not to moan over the taste : )

I agree, if I went to Paris I think I’d be too sad to eat anything because it’s so beautiful! I would take a half a memory card of pictures before even thinking of taking a bite! =)
