First of all, please excuse the crappy photos but I just had to share this with you all. If you’re in Paris during a Sunday and in the mood for something super yummy and cosy you should head over to Café Saint Régis on Île Saint Louis. Yes, there can be many tourists here, and yes, it’s not a gourmet dining experience but it is super cosy and quite delicious (at least the paillard de poulet and chicken burger) in my opinion. And on Sundays it’s even better. Their brunch menu could be the yummiest thing in town.

So when you’ve been apartment hunting non stop for a few days, when it’s raining and you’re totally exhausted this is just what you need, and more. Yes, we went a little bit (a lot) crazy with the dessert menu but that’s necessary at sometimes! Another cosy place to spend Sundays at is this one.

I’m happy to hear and to see that you still enjoy all the things that made you fall in love with Paris in the first place! And that you share it with us of course!

  9. Photos are gorgeous! Not crappy at all. This cafe looks delicious. Beautiful looking atmosphere.

  10. Oh my goodness, I have just found your blog via The Neo-Traditionalist and am *smitten* (you are definitely a woman after my own heart and I just spent a good half an hour browsing your old posts!). I’m planning on living in Paris for a month or two this Summer (taking French classes by day and exploring Paris by night/weekends) and you have just made me even more excited!

I will definitely be back for more!

This looks fabulous! This looks a lot like a café in the Marais that I love though their brunch is not nearly as tantalizing.

As a sit here in dreary Buffalo, NY, you make me want to explore the simple things in life, whether it is in my hometown or in Paris. You take lovely pictures and have an artful eye, thank you for sharing.

  13. this looks so dreamy, while i’m stuck at work here at my desk 🙁

  14. Haha yes you really should 🙂 Ah, thank you for the tip!

    Best, Carin

Hamburgaren fullkomligt smälte i munnen. Perfekt för dagen efter. Mysig service.

      Kram, Carin
