Right Now
After working like crazy for almost two weeks I’m totally exhausted and in need of a brake! Even though I don’t even want to think about more clothes at the moment I couldn’t help but to pick up the latest issue of French Vogue on my way home (it can be an excuse to practice my French a little bit).
Phu! And tomorrow I have to get up early for a little assignment. Exciting but right now I really don’t feel like being out in the cold during three whole hours… I’ll tell you more about it later on!
Jardin des Plantes
If there’s one park in Paris that has it all, it must be Jardin des Plantes. Here you can find a mini forest, a gorgeous park with beautiful flowers during the springtime, a zoo (yes, I’m serious), a little maze and a fantastic museum that you really shouldn’t miss during your visit here.
I recently took an early morning walk around here and even though it was super cold there was a crazy amount of morning runners out and about. Now when I think about it I was probably the only person not running… I guess I have to get up and join them next week!
Chanel Dream
I’m in love with Chanel’s window displays at the moment. Very Marie Antoinette-ish and quite suitable since the haute couture fashion week just took place in Paris.
Early Morning
This was my view during an early morning walk on my way to DVF the other day. Doesn’t it look like an enchanted city or something out of a Disney movie? Absolutely gorgeous and even though my fingers froze to death and my mascara started running down my cheeks because of all the snow it was so worth it to stop for a little while.
Today’s Sweet
Even though I’ve tried quite a few pastries by now I haven’t found that many that have hit a perfect home run for me. Yes, it might sound weird but many that that I’ve tried have either been too sweet, just “blah” or simply bad… But not this time! This little treat that I found at Ladurée is just delicious. I’m going back as soon as I can for to pick up another one. The combo of pistachio, strawberries and raspberries was aaamazing!
Île Saint Louis
An early evening spent on Île Saint Louis. It’s so cozy with all of the lights that are still up. I’m really looking forward to my upcoming move! Then I can wander these streets non stop.
Pretty Ballerina
Repetto‘s display window on Rue St-Honoré at the moment. Isn’t it pretty? And it goes so well with all of the snow!
Working Hard

I’ve gotten many question about the internship and how it’s going so here’s a little update. It’s been super busy and quite stressful so far but it’s also really interesting and fun to see how everything works from the inside. Buyers from all over the world (so far I’ve heard Spanish, Italian, Russian, German, French, English and Arabic being spoken) comes to the showroom to order clothes, shoes and accessories for their boutiques and web shops. The other interns and I dress and style the models and help out with everything necessary. I’ve met so many wonderful and interesting people so far, it’s just an amazing experience. And of course, your fingers are itching sooo bad with all those beautiful clothes around you all the time…
On Instagram
Ever since the first snow hit Parisian ground my Instagram account has been overloaded with photos from snowy Paris. You can find me under the name “ParisInFourMonths“.
Paris in the Snow
It’s been snowing for three days in a row now which has resulted in quite a bit of snow! Most of the buses are cancelled and I’ve seen several cars having problems with getting out of their parking spaces so far. Let’s just say that the city wasn’t that prepared… But it hasn’t all been negative! It seems like the Parisians are super excited about the newly fallen snow that has covered up Paris in all white. I’ve walked pass a bunch of snowball fights, and yes, both between six year olds and 26 year olds. Many Parisians also seem to turn in to “tourists” for a few short seconds, taking out their cell phone cameras to document the winter wonderland that Paris has become.
It seems like Parisians aren’t that used to a lot of snow, which is understandable since it doesn’t snow as much here as I’m used to. As I’ve said before I hate everything that has to do with the cold and winter but for some reason it feels so much more fun with snow in Paris than back in Stockholm. Plus, you can’t deny how beautiful the city looks covered in all the white…
