La Maison Angelina

After our visit to the Louvre we headed over to Café Angelina for something sweet. I’ve been thinking about going here for ages, simply because of their pretty décor and yummy looking pastries! Yes yes, I know about the hot chocolate as well but since I have a hard time with too much milk I skipped it and admired Edna’s instead. At Angelina we also meet up with sweet Danielle and shared a Mille-feuille and Mont Blanc together. Desserts and some girl talk is never a bad idea!

Angelina is great, but if you haven’t been to Laduree, you really should go there too. Yes, yes, I know, they invented the macaron, but that’s not their only claim to fame. If you think Angelina is charming and pretty, stop by the Laduree on Rue Royale (the oldest and most authentic, I believe). It’s amazing. Oh, and Mariage Freres in the Marais is a must. If you don’t drink tea now, you will. Have fun!
