Jacques Genin

Last weekend I spent Sunday morning together with Edna at Jacques Genin. We shared a stunning vanilla mille-feuille, delicious caramels and hot chocolate. I’ve been wanting to come here for so long and I’m so happy I finally did, everything was absolutely delicious and I had a lovely time together with Edna. Although our wonderful Sunday didn’t end there! There’s more to come…

And tonight it’s time for the Oscars, yay! Can’t wait to see what everybody will wear and who will win. Exciting!

mmm I’m suddenly craving something sweet. I’ve read so much about Jacques Genin on Paris Patisseries, and it’s a treat to see it from your point of view too. Is the mango-passionfruit caramel one of the ones pictured up there?

Just stumbled upon your blog. It’s beautiful! Just curious which hot chocolate do you prefer Jacques Genin or Angelina? It would be fun to do a taste-test!

  I’m so happy you found it Unfortunately I haven’t tasted either since that’s too much milk/cream for me (I’m lactose intolerant) but I could ask Edna who has tasted them both

  Definitely Jacques Genin. I find Angelina’s too sweet and I can never finish the whole thing! However, Angelina’s does have a great white hot chocolate — I forget if JG does the blanc.
