Yellow Blossom

Sometimes life is just a little bit freaky. I took a walk around Jardin du Luxemburg yesterday and remembered these yellow flowers from last year so I snapped a quick photo and continued my walk around the park and the rest of the 6th arrondissement. When I came back home I looked up the photo of the yellow blossom from last year and funnily enough I noticed that I took these photos on the exact (!) same day, but a year apart. Same place, same flowers, same park and the exact same date — but so much is different this time around.

You can also see that we’re a little bit behind on spring if you compare the photos above. This year it’s greyer, more dull and I think the cold has ruined the flowers a little bit.
