Jour du Macaron

As you probably know by now I have a little weak spot for French macarons (mostly because they’re so darn pretty to photograph)… But hey, who doesn’t? And that’s why I wanted to tell you guys about today. Today is the “Jour du Macaron“ here in Paris. On this day you can visit several pâtisseries around Paris who gives away a free macaron, in the exchange of a small donation that goes to “Autistes sans frontières” (Autistics without borders). Sweet treats for a good cause, it can’t possibly get much better than that!

The photos are beautiful and those macarons are so pretty to look at Unfortunately, I might be one of the few persons who doesn’t like them although I enjoy any other French sweets…But then again, they are more than appealing visually!
