While I’m away on a photo shoot during the day I thought it could be a good idea to practice some (very basic) French! But hey, at least you know how to say “ducklings” and “puddle” from now on.

Nice way to learn french! : ) Beautiful photos! Would you mind to tell us what camera do you use to take your photos for the blog? I’m planning to buy my first DSRL camera and I can’t decide myself which one to buy….Thanks and have a nice day!

Ahh I love all of these!! Such a great idea. This may be a stretch, but can you list the 3 fonts you used for all these? So nice!

Thank you! Gosh, I made them a long time ago… I think one of them is called “Upper West Side” if I remember correctly.

If I could not already speak French; I’d be using these to start learning – however, they are also brilliant to brush up on vocab, thank you! I find I learn new words and phrases every time I’m at my French home, and today you’ve taught me how to say puddle when I’m still in my LA apartment!

If ever you’re speaking French outside of France, know that ducks are most often “canards”. Un canard, des canards. ;-)

    • http://www.parisinfourmonths.com/ Paris in Four Months

Yes, but these are”ducklings” (meaning baby ducks) not just “duck” :)

  • Miss J
