Today’s Sweet

Sadaharu Aoki by Carin Olsson (Paris in Four Months)

I think I’ve eaten my way around a lot of pastries and all kinds of sweets (see more here) during my time here in Paris. But I guess this one would have to be my favourite. Out of all the sweets I’ve eaten, this is the yummiest one! The caramel tart from Sadaharu Aoki. Gosh, that’s a heavy statement. But hopefully it can live up to your expectations. Bear in mind though: I do love my caramel. And if you’re not a (big) caramel fan I wouldn’t recommend bothering. Ever since I first tasted it about a year ago, I’ve always wanted to come back for more. And now that I have: yes, it’s just as good as I remembered it to be. Yum yum yum!

You can just search for the name in Google and all their locations will pop up :) This is from their shop in the 6th arrondissement.

It looks so good! Would you also recommend the shop for the other pastries?

Hmm.. That’s a tricky question because a lot of their stuff are quite unusual. At least I know that their caramel and raspberry macarons are really really good. But you could do some more research on this blog: He knows what he’s talking about ;)

I’m not a particular fan of cakes, chocolates… Yet your amazing photo makes me want to march straight to that patisserie and try it! :) )

Ah really? Haha I’m happy to help ;)

I’m a big fan of caramel and raspberry – but not necessarily together! if you put either of those flavors in a dessert, I’m almost guaranteed to like it. :)

    • Paris in Four Months

No me either but this caramel tart is just caramel ;)

How do you book your favorite restaurant? I can’t find an email on there page.

    • Paris in Four Months

Which restaurant are you referring to? Les Cocottes? In that case you can’t book a table.
