Finally (!) I can share the first part of my vacation photos from Rome with you all! I hope you’ll enjoy them as much as I enjoyed my time in this beautiful city (although I doubt that’s possible). After spending many wonderful days in Terracina I headed to my beloved Rome, and the cutest little apartment, to spend a few days in the Italian capital.
If going to Rome during the summer, go prepared. Meaning: know that you will sweat and be burning hot from 08 am to 10 pm, bring appropriate clothing for this summer heat (I would have preferred to run around naked since no clothes that I brought with me from Paris were really suitable for the high temperatures), or be prepared to shower at least four times per day. There will be a lot of people and this will only add to the heat (don’t let yourself be fooled by some of the empty streets in the photos above that I managed to snap while strolling around the city, looking for breakfast at 8 am), so don’t go during summer time if you can’t stand too many people. But despite all this I still love Rome like crazy during the summer months. Yes, it’s a little bit of a challenge, but this city has a way of making me forget all about that the second I leave. Oh Rome, how I love you.
