Frenchie To Go

Restaurant Frenchie To Go

More photos from my adventures in Rome and my vacation in Stockholm are coming soon but before that I just had to share my new favourite place in Paris when it comes to lunch. Before I left for the summer holidays I managed to squeeze in two visits to the newly opened Frenchie To Go. I have to admit that I opted for the (absolutely heavenly) lobster roll at both times. Yes, it was that good.

Greg and co were still doing the fit out while I was in Paris (I “lived” around the corner)… So disappointed I missed its opening!

  2. Ah, I heard mixed reviews about Frenchie to go! Guess I’ll need to investigate further :)

    • Ah really? I’ve only heard good things so far, but I’ve been away for a while now as well so maybe that explains it :p But what I had was really really yummy :)

Funnily enough, I’ve also good and not-so-good things about the latest Frenchie installation. But given all the hype and my love of the Frenchie resto, I’ll still give it a go! somethingaboutparis.com

  3. Oh my goodness! That looks wonderful! Is it all lobster? I’ve never heard of such a thing! Thanks for posting! Can’t wait for more travel photos! :)

  4. I didn’t even know they had lobster rolls in Paris! So funny! I have had more than my fair share living in DC – glad to know I can satisfy my craving worldwide 😉

I went a few weeks ago with a friend, and we loved the place but not so much the lobster roll (we’ve both lived in the Northeast US…). I’d say Americans shouldn’t rush to have one in Paris because they’re smaller and more expensive than what we’re used to. But I understand wanting to go back to Frenchie to Go, the pulled pork sandwich is still on my mind! http://lynncroyable.blogspot.fr/2013/06/first-taste-frenchie-to-go.html

    • This was my very first lobster roll so I might not be as good of a judge as you then but I looved it (the two times I had it) 😉 But I’ve heard really good things about the pulled pork as well! Need to try that next time then :)

  6. That lobster roll looks divine! I’ll have to try that place the next time I visit Paris (hopefully sooner rather than later)! xx

    Keep calm and carry lipstick.

  7. I want one of those NOW! I love lobster rolls but I haven’t discovered many places in London. Maybe I’ll just go to Paris for one!

  8. You’re going to make me cry. I miss “my” Paris spots so much!

This is definitely going to be in my list of places to eat in Paris. Every time I pop into Paris for a few days, I just eat and eat and eat. Shopping is secondary. Not so easy trying to lose weight when one’s 40 :( Any plans to come to London? Would love to take you around on an eating fest 😛 (I’m no good with shopping but when it comes to eating…….)
