Summer Vacation in Rome

Here’s the third and final post of photos from my vacation in Rome! If there’s a city in the world (besides Paris of course) that I’ll forever have close to my heart, it’s Rome. So many memories, so many visits — but each very special in its own way. This time was no different. I had a blast and got to see the city in a whole other way than I’ve ever done before, much thanks to three lovely women (Erica, Annie and Nicolee) who were kind enough to show me around their beautiful city. I already want to return! I could wander these gorgeous streets for months. Those early mornings and those warm evenings in that beautiful golden light… Well, if Paris doesn’t work out I know where to go, haha.

A few of my favourites in Rome: Venchi (ice cream), Ciampini (ice cream), Grano Frutta e Farina (breakfast), Hotel de Russie (wonderful terrace, as seen in photo #3), 00100 Pizza (pizza and crazy good supplì), Hostaria da Pietro (lunch/dinner) and Ristorante Tullio (lunch/dinner).

  1. I almost felt like I was sitting there with you, eating some gelato in front of the Trevi fountain!

    Stunning photos :)

If I could choose someone to teach me how to photograph and edit a photo properly, that person would be you! You photograph in such an infinitely beautiful way.. :)

  6. Rome is such a photogenic city. Gorgeous!

These are such beautiful shots, Carin. Goes to show that it’s NOT the camera but the person behind it :)

  8. Rome looked even more beautiful with each photo. Makes me wanna get on a plane and adventure through it. Maybe someday!

These are lovely shots! Out of curiosity what lens or lenses did you use for these shots?

  11. Oh my these photos! Love! I’m not sure if you were trying to do this, but I love the little hints of green in a lot of these photos. The way you organized them is beautiful! Love it.

  14. Beautiful photos as usual! A lot of life in Rome right? And the doors… your eyes just catch the most beautiful doors! Have a nice week!

  15. 4 weeks until I get to go to Rome and these pictures make me wish it was 4 days! Cannot wait!

Beautiful pictures. Your pictures brought me back to holiday a year ago with my bf. It was my first time visiting some places in Europe and one of them is Rome. I love how this city has streets in cobblestones still and that’s very authentic. It’s definitely a town so rich with history and so much to offer.

  19. Your photos are beautiful! I’m definitely living vicariously thought this post right now! Xx

  20. Thank you :) Me too! Already…
