I’m so angry with myself for not showing you more of Stockholm while I’ve been here on holiday during the month of August, but I find it extremely hard (nearly impossible) to get excited about what’s in front of my lens when I’m walking around the city that I grew up in. Don’t get me wrong, Stockholm is an absolutely stunning city but it’s just hard for me to get enthusiastic about it when it comes to photography. I’m sure many people feel the same about their hometown. Even so, I wanted to share a few tips for those of you coming to Stockholm in the near future. So here are my Stockholm favourites:
Bistro Berns (lunch, dinner), EAT (lunch, dinner), Taverna Brillo (lunch, ice cream and dinner), Vassa Eggen (dinner), Matbaren (“Food Bar” in English, best food in Stockholm), Berns (dessert buffet/afternoon tea), Pärlans Konfektyr (sweets), Xoko (sweets), Rosendals Trädgårdskafé (outside café), Villa Godthem (outside café), Östermalms Saluhall (food), Hotel Diplomat (hotel), Grand Hotel (hotel), Lydmar Hotel (hotel) and Nobis Hotel (hotel).
