Weekend Reading

Paris by Carin Olsson (Paris in Four Months)

I hope you’re all enjoying this lovely Easter weekend. I’ve had the pleasure of celebrating this little holiday in the most untraditional way together with friends over wine, pizza, tapas, ice cream, scooter rides and more wine. Of course I managed to save some room for chocolates as well! Since I didn’t have time to put together a weekend reading list for last weekend I have even more to share this time around.

•   Cake and cherry blossoms. I mean, what can I say? Two of my favourite things combined thanks to Linda Lomelino.
•   These lovely photos, taken by the talented Sonya Khegay, made me wish we had more of those beautiful Wistera blossoms here in Paris.
•   Congratulations to my darling friends Shini Park and Kit Lee for making this happen!
•   I’m currently kind of obsessed with Cindy Chen‘s beautiful blog, and especially her photos from a rainy Venice.
•   Trying to find those perfect jeans is not the easiest thing but I think I’ve fallen in love with these that Garance Doré is wearing. Perfect, no?

Something about these pictures reminds me of the book market under Waterloo Bridge in London. Thats not where these are from, are they?

  2. Happy Easter to you, Carin! My husband and I decided to keep things just the two of us this year and started a new tradition of getting coffee and doughnuts. I just adore Linda. She is such a sweetheart!

  3. Happy Easter! That cake looks amazing!

Thank you for the links – I have really enjoyed taking a few minutes this morning to read them.

Love Garance Dore and Cindy Chen

  6. This looks like the St.Germain area along the banks of the river! We picked “The three Musketeers” in French from one of such street shops and also a vintage map of 1813 Paris. Ill never forget my first trip to this magical place! Dying to go back!

  7. I ordered Shini and Kit’s book already and I’m so excited to start crafting! I’m not one to actually craft, but it literally is exciting when you have been following someone for so long (you almost creepily know them) and they come out with a tangible experience 🙂 x
