I loved (and I mean loved) looking out my window just to find the tower all lit up and sparkling away, the boats going back and forth and the the people passing in the streets. I could just sit in my window for hours and enjoy this spectacular view.

I’ve previously told you that I hate the winter — and yes, I really do hate it, but it’s somewhat doable if the sun is out and shining most. Although when it’s grey and gloomy outside it’s just too much…

What’s not to love?

I can never get enough of this…

Around 7 or 8 am in the morning. The magic hour, when the Seine still is calm and untouched.

I have two favourite times of the day. The first time that I can’t get enough of are the really early mornings. Especially in big cities. When the city and all the people are still asleep and when you can wonder the streets all by yourself. The morning even have a special scent… And of course it’s a plus when the sun is there and shining. It’s almost worth to wake up really really early and drag yourself out of bed not to miss it.

I’m heading back to Paris (and my apartment) this Friday, yippee! I can’t wait. Although it’s only for a couple of days this time I really feel that I need a good dose of Paris right now. I’ll try to have a romantic weekend with my boyfriend but at the same time take lots and lots of photos, try out many new restaurants and sweets and perhaps catch a glimpse of Paris fashion week as well!

I’m rooting for the sun.
