Sometime during last week, or the week before that, I made my way to Jardin des Plantes on a very sunny day. I figured that you never know when the sun will come back to Paris again so I wore a dress, and judging by the weather that’s been going on the last couple of days I made the right choice. If only the weather could be a little bit better in this city… Or more stable at least. Anyways, the gardens of Jardin des Plantes were in full bloom and absolutely stunning! I think spring has to be my favourite season. How can it not be when the city looks like this? Well, perhaps you can say that a spring with good weather is my favourite season.

If you’re in Paris, hurry up so you don’t miss out on these gorgeous and blossoming trees! I’m in love.

Musée Rodin is one of my absolute favourite places in all of Paris. Especially during spring and summer. There’s something special about this place that just makes me happy. I can’t help but to smile and I always get a good, delightful feeling in my stomach (perhaps that’s sounds a bit weird but it’s a feeling that is quite hard to describe) when I stroll around Musée Rodin and its gardens. I think joy is what it is! I decided to go last week during a sunny morning, although unfortunately the garden’s roses haven’t started to bloom yet but the place is still magnificent. If you’re in Paris you cannot miss out on this place!

Since the first time I visited this museum I’ve said to myself that this is the place I’m going to get married at (which I, by the way, have no idea if it’s even allowed or not) but since I’m no way near getting married (and happy for that) I guess that a big party would do as well. Or it could also work as my new apartment slash house slash castle, I’m not too picky when it comes to these things.

Thanks to Milsters I got the chance to enjoy my very first concert in Paris yesterday night! It’s so much fun to see new and different sides to Paris that I haven’t experienced before and this was definitely a first for me. We had a great time and ended the night with a little midnight snack at a Parisian café!

I think one of the prettiest hotels here in Paris (well, at least from the outside) is Hôtel Relais Saint-Germain. I love the white façade of the building and that they always have flowers on the balconies. The location isn’t bad either, if I were to stay in Paris for a couple of days this would be my ideal spot. I also love that you literally have five steps to walk to the restaurant Le Comptoir and their wine bar L’Avant Comptoir. I wish you could check in to hotels more often in your own city!

As you probably know by now I have a little weak spot for French macarons (mostly because they’re so darn pretty to photograph)… But hey, who doesn’t? And that’s why I wanted to tell you guys about today. Today is the “Jour du Macaron“ here in Paris. On this day you can visit several pâtisseries around Paris who gives away a free macaron, in the exchange of a small donation that goes to “Autistes sans frontières” (Autistics without borders). Sweet treats for a good cause, it can’t possibly get much better than that!

One of my favourite places for a little pause during my walk, shopping spree or photo shoot is by the fountain at Place Saint Sulpice.

“How do I dress to fit in among the Parisians in Paris?” is one of the most common questions I get asked here on the blog and of course there’s not one right answer to this questions since Parisians dress in a million different ways (just like anywhere else), but I thought I could share how I usually dress to blend in among the chic women here in Paris with you guys. Please bear in mind that I’m far away from being any kind of fashion expert, I only dress in the items I find appealing.

A safe colour to start with is always black if you want to “fit in” in Paris so I usually use that as my base. I wish that I would use more colour in my wardrobe but for some reason that never happens. Although I love to add a pop of colour in the form of accessories; like a handbag, a necklace or shoes. When the weather allows it I’m always in my ballet flats. They’re comfortable, easy to wear and perfect for a city like Paris. I pick a jacket depending on the temperature outside but during springtime I’ll most likely wear my classic beige trench coat or a similar jacket to the one you can see above.

Of course I think you should dress the way you feel the most comfortable! Paris isn’t that different from most other cities since everybody has their own personal style. Although I would say: please leave those training sneakers at home!
